Should I buy a Infiniti G35, Lexus GS300, or BMW 328i as my first car?

My budget is 12000 and I do not plan to buy it off at once. I'm planning on putting a large down and paying the rest off monthly. First and foremost, keep the criticism to yourselves unless you have other suggestions you'd like to bring to the table. The G35 is my most favorable choice, they're everywhere and I'm most likely to find it in my budget. The GS300 is my last choice, I don't really like it as much as the mother two but it's nice. The BMW is nice but since it's German car I'm afraid it won't last as long as I'd like it too, and I don't want to be thrown in a bunch of maintance costs. What are your experience with these 3 cars after 100k miles? Would you recommend the Infiniti or BMW after 100k miles? The B,W is a huge risk though so I'm most likely purchasing a G35. And the cars won't be passed the 2006 year mark AT MOST. Help? Share your knowledge.

Hi, Myself and a friend will be travelling to California next month to purchase a 1960s vw campervan. We will be driving it to the shipping port to export it back to the uk. I've been told we can get a temporary registration which lasts 28 days and will allow us to drive the van. I've been on the californian DMV website but cannot find any more information or the forms. no email address either! So, in the process of getting a new vehicle I took two VIN numbers to a man at the insurance agency I've used for the past three years. The two numbers were for an '08 and an '09 car (the '08 first just to get a reference). He tells me the approximate increase in my monthly bill will be around $47.50 (for the '09). I go ahead and buy the car, my monthly bill has gone up just right over $200 more. Lady friend totaled my car... How will my insurance go about covering things?

She was in the hospital for 3 nights HOWEVER I believe she was kept for that long because of some other health issue she was having that was not caused by the accident. My friend was 4 times the legal alcohol limit when she was checked at the hospital following being taken there in an ambulance; however she was never checked by a police officer & issued a DUI. She was only issued a ticket for rear ending another vehicle... It goes without saying I am furious with her. I don't believe we will be in too much contact from this point forward unless everything works out good with this situation. Do I have much to worry about the hospital checking her BAC? I have heard that the only way the insurance company will find out all that is if it's in the police report. How will things be handled?
